On September 19, our community came together for Faithful Friends Animal Sanctuary’s annual Walk-A-Dog-A-Thon and what a day it was!

More than 50 participants joined us for a morning of walking, wagging tails, and supporting animals in need. Together, our walkers raised an incredible $16,000 to help provide food, medical care, shelter, and enrichment for the animals at Faithful Friends.

The event would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors, donors, participants, volunteers, and everyone who helped spread the word.

We also had some extra-special prizes and surprises throughout the morning, including our raffle for a stay at the French Quarter Inn, Tito’s Handmade Vodka Basket, and Dog Lovers Basket and participant incentives that helped make reaching fundraising goals even more exciting.

Congratulations and thank you to Courtney Grimsley from team Can I Pet that Dawg? who raised the most donations of all individual participants.

Congratulations and thank you to team Apollo Barbell Club for being the team that raised the most donations.

Most importantly, every mile walked and every dollar raised directly supports the animals who call Faithful Friends home. We are so grateful to everyone who showed up, walked with us, sponsored the event, donated, volunteered, or cheered us on from afar.

We can’t wait to see you again next year!
