Compassionate And Dedicated Volunteers Help Make Faithful Friends Animal Sanctuary Possible.
Our sanctuary’s existence depends on volunteers from the community just like you. From day-to-day maintenance and operations to fundraising events and public awareness activities, we are always looking for volunteers to donate their time in order to help care for and find homes for all of our furry friends!
Volunteering opportunities at the sanctuary are endless!
Check out our volunteer options below for more info and see which option is the best fit for you. Contact us with questions and availability.
Please state age if under 18. Check out our Youth Volunteer page for detailed information.
Adult Volunteers

Volunteering for in-house sanctuary work is a rewarding experience!
Our in-house volunteers provide help on many levels. From housekeeping, laundry, and kennel/cage cleaning to feeding, grooming, cat care and dog walking, each and every aspect of the volunteer’s job is vital in keeping our sanctuary open and running smoothly on a daily basis.
We are looking for more volunteers in-house, and can’t wait to meet you!
*Volunteers under the age of 18 must fill out the Youth Volunteer Application, and have to be 16 or older in order to work inside the sanctuary. We do have outside opportunities available for those slightly younger – check out our Youth Volunteer page for more information.
The Volunteer Process:
Volunteers are what make Faithful Friends possible. Without compassionate and dedicated volunteers, we wouldn’t be able to rescue, adopt and love the hundreds of animals we help each year. It is a fun and rewarding experience and the volunteer opportunities are endless.
Certain volunteer opportunities within the sanctuary may require greater frequency and/or attending a required training session. Please note we cannot accommodate those seeking to fulfill court ordered community service.
Youth Volunteers
We love volunteers of all ages!
To work within the sanctuary itself, you must be 16 years or older.
If you are under 16 – WE STILL NEED YOU!
Not 16 yet? There are many ways you can still help the animals at the sanctuary.
- Conduct a supply drive
- Collect aluminum cans (our aluminum can team has collected over $50,000 for the sanctuary)
- Host an event – lemonade stand, craft sale, yard sale
- Receive supplies for the sanctuary instead of birthday presents
Contact the sanctuary staff to let us know about your fund-raising activities!

Event Volunteers
Outdoor events are held throughout the year and we are always on the lookout for more helpers! We need organizers, volunteers to run booths and tables, volunteers to circulate advertising, and help with set up and tear down at certain outdoor events.
Below are just a few examples of some of our events that we need staffing for yearly. We hope to see you there!
